Athens – the city of the 2004 Olympic Games
This event is hosted in one of the most historic cities in the world – Athens, the capital of Greece.
Athens in July offers you numerous opportunities to combine see-sighting with a relaxing swim in the nearest blue Aegean waters of Attica. Very close but not into the high-heat period of mid July to mid August, the calm weather at this time urges you to discover the beautiful streets of Plaka area, next to the Archeological sites and the historic center of the City, or take a long walk along the Saronic Coast in the southern suburbs.
The Hellenic American Union Conference Center offers state-of-the-art facilities to conference attendees, is located downtown Athens easily accessible by the metro system, and public transportation. Visit HAU web site at http://www.hau.gr/hau/en/conf_confcenter.html to see more about the conference center facilities and accessibility.
We have secured a list of hotels for all budgets to people who will need accommodation.
